History:
Valencia CF will visit FC Cartagena for their opening fixture of the new calendar year at the Estadio Cartagonova at 4 pm kick-off time (CET) in the knockout tie of the round 32 the Copa del Rey.
Valencia CF have visited FC Cartagena 13 times with a positive balance of seven wins, two draws and four losses on the road.
Valencia CF faced them back in July in a pre-season friendly at the Antonio Puchades ground where Valencia CF edged out FC Cartagena by a 3-2 scoreline with Omar Alderete, Denis Cheryshev and Jason on target for Valencia CF.
Valencia CF will try to kick off 2022 by going through to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey at FC Cartagena’s expense.
